2. Take the entrance examination

Book a date to take the entrance exam and attend the exam preparation courses.

You must score a minimum of 900 points in the exam. If you took it at another institution, the minimum score required will be 1000 points.

In order for you to take the entrance examination and attend the exam preparation courses, you must submit all your documentation one week prior to the date of your choice and come to the Office for New Students to have your passes to the tutoring sessions and exams issued.

You have two opportunities to pass the PAA. If you do not pass it the first time, you will have to wait for at least a month before taking it again. We recommend taking the entrance examination at your middle school. Those results will be considered valid. We suggest you verify the dates at your institution.

PAA in other institutions

If the exam was taken at a different institution, it will be considered as valid if you submit an official document mentioning the score obtained in each one of the areas and the global score is at least 1,000 points. Validity is one year.

We accept a PSAT result of 8/9 or 10 if you submit the original report and meet the minimum score required, equivalent to the PAA.

Verify your exam results

Remember that you need to obtain a minimum score of 900 points in the Academic Aptitude Test to pass the entrance examination.

This exam can be taken twice. In extraordinary cases, if a third sitting is required, you will need to receive authorization from the department of languages.

Prepa UDEM accepts TOEFL results from any accredited institution, provided that you submit a document that validates the result. The only official TOEFL-approved examination center is the IMNRC (Mexican-American Institute of Cultural Relations).
