To reserve your place in Prepa UDEM International Baccalaureate, Multicultural Preparatory School Program, or Bicultural Preparatory School Program it is advisable to make a preregistration payment of $5,000.00 for the San Pedro Unit, Valle Alto Unit, and Fundadores Unit, which will be credited toward the payment of your semester upon completion of the registration process. For the Bilingual Preparatory School Program, the preregistration payment is $3,000.00.
The registration process must be completed before the beginning of classes (late registration policies apply).
As per reimbursement policy, 50% retention will be applied in case of withdrawal before the start of classes if there is no offer of financial aid.
- The reimbursement will not apply if there is an offer of financial aid.
- After classes have started, the reimbursement will not apply in any case.
- For Valle Alto Unit, the reimbursement will not apply in any case.
1. Not having any debts or blocks.
2. Acquire Personal Accident Insurance, with a semiannual cost of $400.00 (cost subject to change without prior notice). It is mandatory for all high school students.
This insurance only covers medical expenses incurred due to an accident (s) that occurred within the premises and facilities of the University of Monterrey, or during any official activity organized and supervised by the Institution.
Major Medical Insurance Policy (SGMM) is no longer a registration requirement. However, if you want to continue hiring, you can acquire it during the registration process in the Portal UDEM.
3. Make payment of Property Coverage policy.* If the party responsible for the payment of your tuition [as set forth in the application for admission or in the Center for Information Services and Student Services (CIAA)], Property Coverage will cover the payment of all remaining credits until completion of your university education at the Universidad de Monterrey.

1. Bank transfer (electronically) through the Banorte, Banamex, Bancomer, HSBC, Scotiabank, and Santander portals.*
2. Cash or check: direct payment at any branch of the aforementioned banks, presenting deposit slip. If you pay by check, it must be made out to the Universidad de Monterrey for the amount to be paid. You must write your student number and phone number on the back of the check.
3. Credit card: the full payment option, option 1 and option 2, can be paid through the Portal UDEM. If you prefer the option offering 6 deferred payments, you can pay by a Banorte card through the Portal UDEM.
Card payments incur a 2.32% surcharge on total payment amount, except for payment option 3.

If you have any outstanding debt at the end of the semester, 1% interest will be charged monthly on each installment.

A charge of 20% the amount of the check is made, plus the charges that may result to the detriment of UDEM.
For late registration
As of January 13, 2020 a fee for late enrollment consisting of a fixed fee is applied. This fee is paid in cash and is not covered by any scholarship:

...over total cost of semester, regardless of payment method and of the financial aid percentage that you may have. This fee is also applied for registration of courses after course start date.
Students who present a proof of payment on January 13, 2020 that is stamped and dated no later than one day before will not pay a late fee.
If you have not normalized your administrative status when the late-registration period ends, your schedule will be definitely cancelled and you will lose your right to register for the semester.
For academic withdrawal
If you wish to withdraw from the institution, you must inform your director in order to formalize the process. Subsequently, you must go to the CIAA to complete the administrative process.
As per the reimbursement policy, a 10% retention charge will be applied for academic withdrawal if you formalize the withdrawal before the start of classes, and a 12% retention will be applied for every week of classes that has elapsed. The late fee applies over the total cost of the semester and in accordance with the payment method, not applying scholarships.

Podrás realizar tus pagos en el portal UDEM del 08 al 26 de diciembre de 2025 y del 05 al 16 de enero de 2026.

Preinscripción (solo alumnos de primer ingreso)
Para separar tu lugar en Prepa UDEM Bachillerato Internacional, Multicultural o Bicultural es recomendable hacer un pago de preinscripción de $7,000.00 para las Unidades San Pedro, Valle Alto y Fundadores, los cuales se abonarán al pago de tu semestre al completar el proceso de inscripción.
El proceso de inscripción deberá completarse antes del inicio de clases (aplican políticas de inscripción tardía).
De acuerdo a la política de devolución, solamente en caso de baja, antes del inicio de clases se aplicará un 50% de retención en caso de no contar con un ofrecimiento de ayuda financiera.

Requisitos de inscripción
- No tener adeudos ni bloqueos.
- Este semestre la UDEM contratará un seguro contra accidentes, este seguro cubre únicamente los gastos médicos incurridos por causa de un accidente(s) ocurrido(s) dentro de los predios e instalaciones de la Universidad de Monterrey, o durante alguna actividad oficial organizada y supervisada por la UDEM.
Para el semestre de Primavera 2026, la adquisición del Seguro de Gastos Médicos Mayores será voluntaria. Recomendamos que nuestros alumnos cuenten con un Seguro de Gastos Médicos Mayores. Quienes no cuenten con uno, como siempre tendrán a su disposición la posibilidad de adquirirlo a través de la UDEM, y se podrá solicitar el día de la inscripción. - Realizar el pago de Cobertura Patrimonial*. En caso de fallecimiento de la persona responsable del pago de tus colegiaturas —la que esté establecida en la solicitud de admisión o en el Centro de Información y Atención a Alumnos (CIAA)—, esta cubrirá el pago de los créditos restantes hasta la terminación de tus estudios profesionales en la Universidad de Monterrey.

- Transferencia bancaria (vía electrónica)*. A través de los portales de Banorte, Banamex, Bancomer, HSBC, Scotiabank y Santander.
- Efectivo o cheque. Pago directo en alguna de las sucursales de los bancos anteriormente mencionados, presentando la ficha de depósito.
Si pagas con cheque, este se debe expedir a nombre de la Universidad de Monterrey por la cantidad a pagar, anotando al reverso tu número de matrícula y de teléfono. - Tarjeta de crédito/débito/MSI. Podrás realizarlo a través del portal UDEM.

Parcialidades
Fecha de vencimiento
De acuerdo con la opción de pago seleccionada, varía el número de parcialidades a cubrir:
- 3 de febrero de 2026
- 2 de marzo de 2026
- 1 de abril de 2026
- 4 de mayo de 2026
Cargo por parcialidad vencida
Al vencer la fecha límite del pago de cada parcialidad se aplica un cargo de $1,300 pesos (cargo sujeto a cambio sin previo aviso).
Cargos diversos
Por inscripción tardía
A partir del lunes 12 de enero de 2026 se aplica una cuota por inscripción tardía que consiste en una cuota fija de $4,600 pesos. Dicha cuota se paga de contado y no es cubierta por ninguna beca, independientemente de la forma de pago y del porcentaje de ayuda financiera con el que se pudieras contar. Cuota que también aplica para el alta de materias posterior al inicio de cursos.
Los alumnos que el lunes 12 de enero de 2026 presenten comprobante de pago con sello con fecha anterior a la ya mencionada, no se aplicará cuota tardía.
Si al concluir el periodo de inscripción tardía no concluyes tu inscripción administrativa, tu horario será dado de baja de forma definitiva y perderás el derecho a cursar el semestre.
Cargos diversos por uso de créditos FFELP
Cargo exclusivo para alumnos norteamericanos bajo dicho programa.
Por cheque devuelto
Se cobra un 20% del importe del cheque, más los cargos que resulten en perjuicio de la UDEM.

En caso que desees retirarte de la institución, deberás notificarle al director de tu Unidad para formalizar el trámite. Posteriormente, es necesario que acudas al CIAA para completar el trámite administrativo.
Conforme a la política de devolución en caso de baja académica, se aplicará un 10% de retención si formalizas la baja antes del inicio de clases, y un 12% de retención por cada semana de clases transcurrida. El recargo aplica sobre el costo total del semestre y de acuerdo a la forma de pago, sin la aplicación de becas.
